Ultimate Training Camp
The UTC is a high intensity sports camp for college & professional athletes. We tackle the issue of how to blend faith and sport together on the field of competition, teaching five biblical principles and allowing athletes to test those truths in a 20-hour competition known as "The SPECIAL."
You’ll learn a biblical perspective on topics like motivation, attitude, leadership, persevering through tough times, winning & losing, and life after competition. Following each “chalk talk” session, you'll have “practice” in a controlled competitive environment to apply newly learned biblical principles, before competition-level intensity during the S.P.E.C.I.A.L.
You’ll also get to interact with athletes from around the country and the world, through small group times, competition, and social events. Don’t miss out on this life-changing week!
For six nights (May 22-28th), UTC will bring relevant and exciting content to help you discover how God, life, and sport are connected. Each night will be broken up into two, one-hour slots:
— The first hour is dedicated to interactive content: intro, worship with RUN51, Principle content, and Lab (real-time application of the Principle that was just unpacked). This hour will give you clear direction as you figure out how to apply the Faith + Sport/Life Principles in your context.
— The second hour is dedicated to interacting in a small group led by UTC alumni. We've designed this segment to help you experience community and hear different perspectives from your peers, as you enjoy digging deeper into these Principles together.
UTC is geared towards the competitive athlete to help them start to understand how God, life, and sport are connected. This experience will also be useful for coaches, athletic trainers, athletic directors, and staff, both personally and as they support athletes!
Why should I sign up for UTC ?
The Principles (main content for the event) are relevant and have been tested for over 40 years with competitive athletes worldwide.
The cost is minimal for what you will gain (Please fill out the form below for scholarship assistance!).
You get a great “camp” experience in just 2 hours/night for 5 nights, so it’s not a huge time commitment.
You’ll have common language with others who have attended UTC already and understand more of what they are talking about.
You’ll meet people from around the US and the world from your life stage to help you process and apply what you learn.
You’ll be able to help other athletes navigate the pressures of sport and life.
